Its story features Aaron Eckhart as Staff Sergeant Michael Nantz, a marine who has been called back to duty just a few hours after resigning. His is part of a mission to evacuate people in Los Angeles from the impending fallout of a meteor storm. The turn of events get worse with the appearance of an alien army rising from the ocean.
