Arguments About How The Bible Influenced The U.S. Constitution | Relijournal

There are many varying insights about how influential the Bible was to the U.S. Constitution. Although the First Amendment stated “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances,” many people continue to argue its interpretation and how biblical principles may or may not have affected the Founding Fathers at the time of the making of the Constitution.
